Looks like a new frontend, shocks, mudgards, body, wing, etc. Nice! Exciting!

Judging by the superfluous air intakes either side of the cab I'd be thinking the same body for both nitro & e-buggy versions

A TLR driver dropped a few hints to me a couple of weeks ago:
Wider chassis, metric hardware, longer shocks (hence why the Evo springs are so long), new radio tray. Diffs will be the same.

Interesting.... the only sets Ive seen (on 2 different buggies) the shock collars were wound up as high as they could go to get the ride height down

your evo springs are to short on Buggy? The other day I had to run mine all the way to the top in front of Buggy to get ride height where I wanted. You might wanna check your arms. TLR arms bend over time. They are flexible and don't really break often but they bend over some time. They need to be replaced over time otherwise you don't get right ride height etc if your arms are bent then your driveshafts will start bending after that. New 5.0 arms look thicker.

I Think he means on the "5.0" new shocks? I think they are longer

See how far down his collars are? And how long his front shocks are.

ohh i guess I mis understood you. I thought you were talking about 4.0 the evo springs were to short. Yes I noticed the springs on car were threaded more. Yes shocks look longer and the caps are more rounded. The radio tray looks like steering servo is foward to backward now to.

With all the excitement about the 5.0. I thought I'd post up some photos of my own custom parts I've been testing

These are the truggy but i feel its relavant

Custom tray that removes the trihorn and crazy links and moves the weight forward

Custom Ackerman plate

i don’t see losi eliminating that much steering throw, that is a twitchy looking truck set up but it’s a truck. Just a thought, truck has a longer steering link from servo to bell, why would u slam that? You won’t have any feel for steering.. even for buggy that would be huge. Maybe for steering slop? Or do u want a really really fast steering reaction?

Your throttle set set up in conventional with an added brace, can’t knock that but how has your throttle servos durability been? Have you had to stiffen up the rear end or is it a minute change in feel?
