Neither one, the punishment was due to the fact my pitman puting me down 1 second later, i mean the call for cars on the ground its at 4 secons, my guy put it on 3rd ...

I had the exact same thing happen to me at the 2007 Brazil Nationals. The 10 sec count down was in Portuguese so my pit man did not know when to set my car down. I received a 10 sec stop and go. We were doing 25 sec lap times and the pit entrance had a double and the exit had a tight Z section, so I got lapped after 2 laps.

But I won the 60 min A-main with my Matrix by 2 laps over 2nd, so it did not matter.

Hi, had the first national race for the season at the weekend, I bumped twice to the semi (I'm always slow in the qualification) but my race ended to a broken clutchbell, it seems that the rear brake got stuck somehow which caused the breakage. I was able to continue but the race was basically done at that point. Nevertheless, it was much fun and bumping twice gave me a good feeling. We had almost 70 drivers in the race.
Funny thing is that I don't feel I gained that much from the car being lighter. So I'm actually going back to the original (stock FRE) with a new a car and a new engine. I will just use a LiPo receiver pack and Ti screws for most part, that'll be it.

Hi,
I was about to sell this one after the last race since I already ordered myself a totally new Matrix FRE .. but instead I decided to keep it as a wet weather race car and for spare.

For the new Matrix Pro I have already got myself a new engine, the Team Orion REV CRF .21 (the same that Ryan Cavalieri runs) and waiting for the designed pipe set arrive. It's a fancy looking engine I must say.

So am getting prepared for the next race with some good new tools.

Default Shock Resevoirs

MikaR

I see you have the resevoirs facing outside rather than inside. Are the resevoirs durable enough to take a hit? I was rather concerned because they're made of plastic instead of aluminum.

I have mine on the inside. The photo below shows them without the front sway bar.

I now have put the front sway bar back on. The reservoir shocks are very durable. I flipped the car on asphalt and they came away with barely a scratch.

Yeah, no issues with the durability, they can take a lot of beating. Haven't broken any.

I put the stock sway bar on and it doesn't seem to rub anywhere. When I re-installed it I compressed and manipulated the suspension and I didn't notice any rubbing.
