Good discussion guys. It is going to be interesting to see how this lighter car will perform, better or worse. Lighter car will make it easier to clear over jumps and accelerate, it will probably be more agile, too. Some guys try to enlighten the car from the chassis which I don't consider as a very good idea, I don't know how AE did it in their buggy. I've been racing past few years now, last season did pretty well (I was in TOP20 of 75 drivers total in the cup of 4 races) even my car weighed pretty close to stock. One thing to consider is also that our conditions are often wet and muddy, maybe lighter weight will help also in such conditions a bit.

Here's a pic

I watched qualifying for the silver state race, and just never got a good groove going. they were about 2-4 seconds off the leaders lap pace all day

Default Servo Questions

Hey guys thanks for all the info you post on here, really helps a newbie like me. Just got a new matrix a few weeks ago and already stripped the metal gears on the stock steering servo. What servo do you guys recommend to replace the stock one?

Have an add posted in the FS/FT section but figured I would ask here. I need some parts for the truggy small gear conversion from you guys. I need a CF steering plate and servo tray. Also need chassis braces, center diff mount and brake cams. Might take some CF shock towers too but dont have to have em. Hopefully someone can help me out! Thanks! Also need some hot bodies spiral ring and pinoin gears. Hey a guy can ask!

Right..thanks. Do you think they were just simply lacking engine power (top guys must have had hand built&tuned engines) or was it something else.. ?
