Don't forget servos, and extra clutch bearings. I also recommend an alloy steering servo arm.

Well I'm going to get electronics last. I think I lost a screw!

I bought the MBX7R just a minute ago as well.

So my plan is to run the associated on electric until I get another nitro motor and put the NovaRossi on the Mugen.

Me and my son will have two different cars and it will add to the challenges.

I still need the bump box, another NovaRossi or maybe a Mugen motor, some fuel and paint for the lexan, Tx / Rx and Servos for both cars, Rx and Servo Batteries.

You can't beat the price of that Elite 5. The Mugen line are good engines, some are nova and some are OS based. However, since you're still so new to tuning, eating a $100 motor versus eating a $500 motor will be a drastic difference.

Check out ebay - a set of Spektrum 6100's would work great for both throttle/brake and steering. They're on closeout right now for $50 each, down from $109.

Alright, I'm kinda confused

You've got a rc8b3 and an rc8.2e? Plus you're getting a mbx7r as well?

Gotcha!

Can't go wrong with either of those really... especially if you plan to get into racing.

1 tip for running in your engine that i wish someone told me when i started, preheat ur engine, get that thing to 90+ degree c before you even try to start it, easier on the box, the engine, and ur hand!

It gonna be good idea to find someone well experienced to help you with first start and engine break-in process. Find someone from your local community, save your time and money.

So I'm trying to get the front assembly attached on the B3 and the very front screws holding it on won't go in or bite to screw them in.

Any ideas?

Guy's I have wrapped up the build on the B3, but I don't like the tires I got. I need recommendations on a street tire and rim that doesn't look like a toy....

I started the Mugen build and got the front assembly done, long ways to go yet.

Still need a battery pack for the B3 that fits, servo's, tires and Tx/Rx but I'm in no hurry, just some nice rims and tires for the street.

You need some Proline Road Rage 1/8 scale tires. you can look around and get you set for about 50 bucks or less on line. check out this link. I bought these about 5 years ago when had my thunder tiger eb4 s2 which was total piece of garbage. http://www.amainhobbies.com/rc-cars-...12-00/p386147? then get you a set of proline solid wheels such as the velocities. your looking at 60 bucks for the wheels and two sets of tires. I love proline tires, but need to be honest; the wheels I doubt would hold up well to bashing. I recommend the AKA wheels.
