Default RC10GT Rear wheels on front.

This guy was able to take 4 rears and use 2 up front without spending $50 on a conversion. It's an old thread and I cant get a hold of him, so I was hoping someone could make sense of this.

http://www.rcshortcourse.com/forum/t...d-all-4-a.html

How did he have room for the front bearing? If I put my current rears on the front for testing, the step in the shaft lines up with the rim so if I put a bearing on it would be on the treads and have 3 threads for a nut. I hope this makes sense, but anyway, did he have longer shafts on the front of his GT?

I love this hobby but it can get expensive, so anyway I can save money is a plus and keeps me in it. I don't want to spend $45 on the conversion unless there's a cheaper conversion I don't know about. I want to get better rims and rotate my tires with out re-gluing.

Or you could just change to a 12mm hex all around like the T4.2 and all your issues are solved....

Do you use 30 degree or 25 degree caster blocks?

I like to run the 30 degree on rougher tracks and the 25 on smoother tracks.
