The option uprights for the 7R are the inline ones.
If you line up something straight between the centres of the upper and lower pillow ball nuts and look at the centre of the axle you'll see what i mean, the mbx7 had inline uprights if you want to compare.

If you are referring to the wear spots on the drive axles near the dog bones made by the hubs, this is normal. If you wanted to prevent it, you could adjust the droop screws slightly which could have an adverse effect on the handling of the car. I suppose you could lightly mill the inner edge of the right and left hub as another solution.
However, I personally would not worry about it as it is minimal wear at best and I doubt any significant damage is present.
