Yes the engine is dead center. Many other things too.

I can assure you it is not like anything else I have seen in the +25 years Ive been in the hobby. Nothing against all others. Obviously, only respect for them. This is only my view of what a racing buggy should be. Hopefully we can make a 100% prototype for testing and then try to run profuction.

Thank you greatly.

3.5 years of work (after the final decision to start the project) to be able to put together an idea that has been on my mind for about 10 years.

From that angle, it looks like the front and rear diff crown gears are flipped, narrow arm holders and chassis, front arms moved forward, removable steering knuckle arm to adjust ackerman, and unique radio tray and fuel tank placement to balance out the chassis. Good luck

And assume it will be an offset gearbox and centre driveshaft placement to make the centralised engine placement work?

How will you go with an exhaust and how to mount it? It seems to me that any exhaust will sit quite a way inboard despite what is shown in the pic - I could only assume it would be a damn narrow chassis.

Certainly going against the current trend all the manufacturers are going with wider chassis (yes, does loo like a tekno and DNX408 type chassis)

Best of luck - looking forward to more pics

lol, bit early for a bandwagon/not much to hate on here, doesn't even exist. its a drawing, or idea, and everyone has those.

Looks very nice! Read a bit through the jq thread. He started out with a narrow chassisdesign and have now changed that to a wide one with different geometry. It is more forgiving and easier to drive. Hope you can get it done and i cant wait to see the car! Good luck :-)

I must state my opinion. I know the person who has been working on this design and it is truly innovative. I am fortunate enough that we sat down together and was shown the buggies design in full detail on a laptop. The design was way before the teckno buggy.

I appreciate you John, that's why. Thanks man.

BS?

There are some hits and misses on all of your views.
I can tell you, yes it is narrow, but no one has done this approach on layout and static/dynamic balance.

Think electric buggies. Many are even narrower and have no problems.

Thanks for all the good wishes
