Has anyone tried running a Losi clutch on this thing yet? I'm wondering if it will work with the stock engine mount. I can't find anybody producing a one piece or a quick change for it.

Hi,

the stock body that comes with the kit is too short to cover the stone guards, right? Do you leave more polycarbonat than the line displays while you cut it? It looks really weird, if the half stone guard shows..

I have cut below the preferrated body line that is showed then when the boy is fitted to the mounts I Sharpied the line off the guards, you will find it flaring out out but it looks cool and does not get in the way of the steering.

As for droop on this car,it does lack more droop than other cars right now, but it think it will be worked on, as to get more droop, I turn the fronts 1 turn out from the end of the treaded shaft line and 2 turns on the rears . So far with this it has been driving well and landing are better. I have the stock pistons and use anywhere from 40wt to 25wt for shock oils depending on track conditions. Last week with the high bite I went 35 ft. and 30 rear with the white spring up front and the option silver spring on the rear. Should have went back to the white spring on the rear for less roll and more rotation as I started to push on corners.

You'll also find that the clutch setup is good here as the shoes are real cnc cut shoes and not compressed aluminum shoes, so they have a better slip and grab to you clutch setup. I'm using the silver springs in my buggy because I like the snap, putting one of the black springs will have a better feel for most.

Looks good. Mine got to the house today. Too bad I'm out of town at a race. Last race with my old battered losi!

Just curious how many people are racing these here in the US?

Is there any US Team drivers?

So... Started assembly of my buggy yesterday. I was taking pictures along the way to do a build thread... I was a little worried when I first started the build because some of the bags were open already. I gave up doing a build thread as the build started to turn for the worse. I only have the old style diff bearings in the kit and I was missing a pin for the front CVD (FYI the TLR pins fit just fine). Next... there isn't enough pills to set the car up with the base setup provided in the manual... are you kidding me?!? Why have that as the base setup if you don't include the parts needed to set it up that way? Needless to say, so far I am disappointed with the kit. The fit and finish of the parts is also below standard for the price of the kit. I hope it drives like a mad machine because everything about the build has been a letdown so far.
