Can you post a picture with boot on and boot off?

It doesn't matter if it's smooth or has the protrusion. Look closely at the picture in post #220. The extra material between the slot in the cup forms an air tunnel and allows the boot to breath.

You want to have the boot on the shock, put the spring on the shock, put the spring cup on the bottom of the spring, compress the spring with the cup on the bottom, pinch the bottom of the boot, slide boot over shock end, slide the gap in the spring cup over the pinched part of the boot. Or instead of pinching slide a 2mm wrench between boot and shock end and slide the gap in spring cup over it...

Hope thats not too confusing

Front shock at full compression.

Rear at full compression

That is the point where the piston hits the bladder.

Ok, now measure shock eye to shock eye.

Make sure the piston is fitting all the way on the shaft and that your shock ends are bottomed out on shaft.

Are those fully compressed numbers? Because on my 8.2 I set droop at ~102mm up front and ~120mm in the rear. Measured center to center.

Also, I have a small gripe about the shocks as I just received them. Do they seriously not have a bleeder hole of any sort? Any reasoning behind that?

Checked that last night.

The pistons are fully seated and eyelets are screwed on until they would not go any further.

Bleeder hole should be on the cap.

Those are fully extended numbers.

The bleeder hole is in the center of one of the CSI logos on the cap, look really close.
