Need Some Help & Advice?
Hi all!
I am new here and have some questions regarding my old OFNA buggy. Basically, I am wondering if I should spend the money to get it back running again, or just purchase a new kit and go from there.
The buggy itself is going on 9 or 10 years old. The reason I had shelved it when I was younger was because I couldn't for the life of me tune the new .28 picco I purchased for it. The problem is, it got shelved with some fuel in the tank, lines and engine still. I'm not even sure if a solid cleaning would be worth it after almost 10 years.
Also, Off the top of my head, I know it needs things like a pull start, air filter, clutch shoes, flywheel possibly, glow plugs, glow stick, fluel, etc... The shocks can't be in great shape after that long either.
Should I pick up a new kit and try and salvage the .28 picco? Is a 10 year old .28 picco even decent by todays standards any more? That is if it's not destroyed...
Thanks in advance!!
Kevin
