Just need to add an extra hole to my AE8.2 rear tower and was wondering if any particular drill bit should be used/avoided? I have a drill bits for metal, wood and stone...

Abrasive cutters work best for carbon, but any drill bit will do the job. The carbon will just kill the bit quickly.

I'd go normal metal bit and watch out for the dust (super bad to breathe). Spray it w/ water as you drill so you get carbon sludge instead of dust.

Also try and clamp it down to something. You can blow the back out very easily drilling carbon

I needed to drill some holes on my Carbon RC8T rear tower for the body post any drill bit will work and do use a clamp so you can drill though it easier. As for the dust its nasty it smells like CA glue do wear a quality air mask while doing it !!

Just a simple metal bit will do the trick. If I have to do a lot of holes I just get a cheap packages of 3 drill bits because carbon will ruin the drill bit
