went out to the track after work the other day, my fiance recorded a few laps, i was running mf turbo trax that were about half worn out car was very stable and had a ton of traction. Running my setup i posted just with 450, 350 shock oil because it was 30* warmer than when i was running before.

Looks Great!

Yes, those are the same tires. I have the new tires as well. For your track conditions I cannot say how they will work. The C3 compound is great though.

It's difficult to say whether the same shock setup I run will work on your surface. I made some changes the last time I was out that I really liked. I have a couple more ideas and I'll post a new setup (one that is legible too.. lol).

Ben I am going to try the Duratrax Posse Tyres this weekend, I ordered some only to find out that they are re branded Louise B Turbos which I can get in mass from my sponsor! The other Louise tyres worth considering are the Maglev in SS and Soft compunds and the Vipers, for Indoor clay check out the Sharpes. Not sure what these patterns are called in the duratrax range but would definitly check them out.

I had some really good results over the winter series on Astro turf tracks but it came as a big shock at the UK nationals on dirt, I was 100 from 128 entries and just had a bad weekend, lots of silly issues and lack of confidence on the dirt, I had people coming up to me saying 'you race astro dont you' I was basically not quick enough through the turns as you have to be smooth on astro to avoid grip roll. Towards the end of my final (i bumped to 1/32 from 1/64) I decided to push and go ultra agressive and the car loved it, just not my usual style so I need to change my mindset a bit for the dirt.

All of May and June's events are now on dirt/grass, I have withdrawn from the astro events as I need to focus on one surface.

I will let you know how I get on, will be trying laying the shocks down to begin with as I was struggling with consistency last time on the dirt!

Austria driver-Manual's race report

Last week we were in Fehring – Styria. It was the first run from of the Austrian Championship (they are the best drivers from Austria on start).

The track was very dusty, so I had to find the right SET UP.

Fehring is a big track. Last year there was the European Champigionship on that track.

It was very difficult to drive. During the training-runs, I was a little disappointed, because I had problems with my engines.

On Saturday afternoon started the first quali-run. I drove very constant, but after a few minutes anything on the steering was defect. So I had to break up my quali-run.

On Sunday morning started the next quali-run. I almost drove without mistakes. It was a good rue for myself.

I passed the last quali-run, because I was just qualified for the 1/64 final. Then I got a headache and sore throat - so I did not drive my final-run.

It was a great event, but I hope I will reach a better position for my next race.

Good day for Intech.

David Osborne
Greg (myself)
Derrick Osborne
Had a good A-main run. I started pushing the car a little to hard and hurt myself more than anything. As always, Dave was on fire.
Aaron finished in the B but just started not long ago and is coming along fine.

We had the official opening weekend at tcrc this weekend.I had a few driving errors in the first qualifier and was sitting in 2nd,I made a few changes to the car for the second and went out to take the tq.In the 3rd round I stretched the gap even farther.come main time I jumped out in the front and never looked back, came in to pit and had flameout exiting pit lane but thanks to my pitman arron he got my car back out quickly and I still won the main finishing a lap ahead of second. The intech is very impressive and turned several heads this weekend.Looking forward to many more good weekends with intech this summer.

And my Maxy engine was just awesome and flawless. Seems the engine just really matches the performance of the car. Both work great together.

Great job guys!

As of Saturday, my car has 12 races on it. Nothing has been replaced on the drivetrain and it shows very little signs of wear. 10 of those races were on high bite indoor where drivetrain takes a beating. Actually nothing has been replaced except for a rear hub and some hinge pin inserts.
I have drove and raced about every car out there and this car is simply the real deal, a blast to drive and very easy to work on.
With a simple buggy kit these days running easily over $500, I can't imagine not even giving the Intech buggy a chance.
Sometimes a brand name is nothing more than a higher price tag. If you're looking for results and save some dough in the process, this could be your car.

tony montana 05-05-2013 05:31 PM

Agree with everything you said greg. I have 3 races on mine so far all at the same track witch is brutal on cars, and have no wear either besides a few deep scratches on the bottom of the chassis.

xxxntwv 05-05-2013 06:46 PM

The cars are wearing very good. After making a few changes Saturday the car is very fast and easy to drive.I feel more confident with the intech than I have with any car I've ran in the past. Its like you can't do anything wrong the car just seems to take whatever you throw at it and keeps on going.

tony montana 05-05-2013 07:06 PM

What changes did you make David

Greg B 05-05-2013 07:28 PM

I've had this car do some crazy things in the air. I'm talking to the point of out of control freestyle but yet land and go on like nothing happened. Sometimes after it happens, It take me awhile to gain composure cause I start laughing.

As for Dave's car. His setup is like driving a remote control motorcycle. It's not my style. I like one to steer and rotate but not all at one time. LOL
Dave is a lot smoother on the throttle. Sometimes I catch myself peeling it back more than needed so I generally have to set my car up to overcome my heavy finger.

On a side note, we have had great A-main results all winter running indoor high bite track in Ohio. We just never took photo shots of the results because we hit the road for the 2.5 hour trip back home.

The changes I made from my indoor setup were softer springs, lighter sway bars went up to 3 deg rear toe and mugen 5 hole shock pistons. The car is easy to drive fast and consistent through out the entire race.I will try and post a setup after I get home from work.
