didn't you also set another the front toe-in on inserts ?

I did not have time to test that. My nitro buggy is set with .5 in. The Ebuggy is set with 1 out.

Sorry, it was 1.25mm pistons.

The Fironi pistons were out of stock last time I checked. Do they fit the Intech shock bodies Greg? The BR-6 bodies are actually 15.2mm, so I thought the o-ring might be too small so I need to test them. If they work, we will stock them at VP-Pro USA.

I got a couple sets for myself and Osborne. They fit good. I ran 450 front 500 rear but it was colder than a well digger on the track side of the building.

The FTW Mugen Night Fox body is a nice fit for the car.
Body mounting hole are on par. Cut the sides of the body in the bend of the bottom of the body. This will allow it to fully cover the mud guards. Install on car and use a Sharpy to outline the engine head. The Intech sits the engine back a bit further than the Mugen according to the body. Very simple to do and looks good as well. Be sure to enlongate the rear body mount hole in both directions for flex reasons. Also trim some of the body away from the shock towers. Making the body mount hole bigger without trimming away from the tower will only allow flex protection one way.

Use longer bolts on the chassis braces. (through the chassis) Trim the body mounting holes for lots of movement and use plenty of thread lock. Make sure any and all screws go through the rubber lock on the nuts.

Happy building.

I have one question. Cold some bode help me on that? My br6 and the older one br5 have the same problem. The compression shocks are Vera hard and the buggy do not tatch the ground under force compression. I think it cause less weght transfer for the front when breaks and it cause less stear on the corners. Now can i fix that? Thanks

killerkustoms 02-15-2013 07:34 PM

Not sure what your asking but if your saying your shocks are too stiff then maybe you have too much rebound in it. Look a few posts back where Gene posted Drakes shock clinic and it should fix you up.
