The truggy is not done yet. They just sent me a bag of proto truggy parts. All the alum parts are buggy option parts. I have no idea what will come with the truggy kit when it is released this june.

Lol. Fair enough.

So I take it the truggy uses the same ring/pinion on the diffs as buggy since there is a large gap in spur gear size?

Yes. I built this one with the optional 45/10 gears which should make it accelerate even faster.

This is a buggy kit converted to a truggy. The only non buggy parts are the following:
chassis
Towers
CVD's
Arms
Turnbuckles

And they still are working on:
150cc Tank
Front body mount
Body

The shocks are spare buggy shocks I had. They fit perfect. But they did send proto medium length shocks that I will try as soon as I get them built. But the stock buggy shocks seem to be perfect for the truggy geometry.

The new diff bearing inserts are sweet. They have a dust boot and also an o-ring around it to keep it from spining in the bulkhead case.

They also have new outdrives that allow more uptravel before the CVD hits.

Gene are you bringing it to the PNB race? I would love to see how it looks all together. Will the Losi bodies fit the truggy?
