I'm in OZ and I have bought around a 20k worth of bits from Amain over the years but with tower hobbies having alot of durango stock it's very hard to stick with Amain .

Then tonight I got an email from tower giving a $250 discount on 1000$ international purchases, now that's awesome for us.

Ps before I get murdered with hate mail, I buy all I can from my local venom (Durango) dealer and support my local hobbie shops also, but sometimes it's hard to get what you want when your this fair away from the USA!

I nvever really complained but I order more from amain a lot more now.
Since most of my parts cost more than $25 I go straight to them. I order Nick nack stuff from my hobby shop.

If I order things right I never have to pay shipping. The best of both worlds as I can still support my hobbies shop.

The TKI3 kits are now listed on A Main and are available for pre-order. The same cannot be said about the TKI3 parts. If you're interested in the kit you might want to move quickly. They had several folks on the pre-order list last week and this was before the TKI3 announcement.

I assumed this was the case. You might want to call and/or email A Main and check on the parts availability. They wait to list certain items even though they know they're getting it. For example the new KO Propo Ex-1 Tx.

I just bought some parts from A-Main and the shipping was $10, couldnt believe that can do it that cheap to Aus (Losi 8 body + some bits and pieces). Great service too.

I just ordered a Bonito from Amain and used the coupon code and over nighted it with my savings from the coupon and the price was still $20 cheaper than the LHS and I didnt have to pay taxes on it either. So overall thats about a $45 savings. I realize that they are hurting the LHS but I tried to get my LHS to get close to their price and they couldn't so I went the cheapest route. I support my LHS as much as possible but when it comes to large purchases Amain is the way to go IMO.

On some things i whould say AMain is higher than others on some things for parts . but not nearly as much as Tower Hobbies without a coupon wise. But Amain does ship pretty fast on the sameday order and the shipping prices arent bad.

I'd like to know why AMain has had so many items back-ordered
for so long now ? Engine bearings, engine parts, tuned pipes
car parts, ect...
After waiting for over a month for items to get back in stock.
I called customer service and was told, if I really needed the
items, I should pre-pay for the back-ordered items and they
would be sent to me as soon as they came in. But couldn't
tell me when they expected their next order to come in.
I'm glad I didn't make an order for any of the back-ordered parts.
I have checked every day for two months and thet are all still
on back-order. I've been buying from AMain for years and never
had to wait over a week for parts to be back in stock.
I don't know what the problem is, but until they get it together,
I'm going to be spending my money elsewhere.

Hey bro, I feel your pain waiting for items that does not seems to get ordered but usually there is two reasons to that, 1) it is a slow moving item so for business reason it's not logical for them to bring it in unless they have enough backorder. 2) It can be due to slower production from the producer.

From my experience, those fast moving items get ordered in within a week. At least from my experience but you might be right, there might be some items just get ignored.
