This just in it's Greg Degani! 2002 1/8 Buggy Worlds winner. Here is a picture of him testing it out on the buggy at worlds track. He won by 3 laps!

Might be him. I mentioned this earlier in the Agama thread. But you can't tell from the link you posted.

Greg D ran the Z car at that race, there are pics from that race and he was with factory people over there showing his car off. He had two cars over there built ready to go, saw the pics. Its probably Wheeler, but why would he leave Xray when they just came out with a new car?

I'd be very suprised if it was Degani.
Not an insult to him, or his skills, but he's not a real 'world class' driver in the same caliber of Tebo, Mayfield, Tessman etc any more IMO.
I think maybe Wheeler, but I doubt Kortz. He's their marquee man for HoBao in the USA, so I think he's on a good wicket there.

Well you can categorically rule out Kortz. Didn't think OFNA would let him go.
This just posted http://www.buggy-sport.info/index.ph...ce-report.html
HoBao/OFNA have much deeper pockets than Agama as an RC brand, for Agama to nab someone as "World Class" as Kortz.

with all due respect to these pilots and their skills, Kortz, Bradley, Robbers, all these guys are fast as hell but their names are more or less unknown outside of the US. If agama is serious about World-Class drivers, they need people known globally... like those you've mentioned above and the legendary Kanai, Reckward, or the younger aces like King, Savoya, Easton's of this world - "brand names" that can drive enough attention and business to offset the (substantial) paycheck if you want
