jr - That's a bummer..I've had one person tell me they broke a front shock tower also and I've personally never seen either of those break!

Put the other set in there and if those break, let me know.

breakin2 - The newest issue of XRC has Stephen Bess' review of the car as well, and the most recent copy of Car Action has an article on the X1 RTR.

I'm sure we'll all be running the Spektrum stuff.

There is a blue and orange X1 RTR on the cover of RCCA that reviews the RTR, and I'm not sure what is on the cover of the new XRC, I can't remember.

Thanks Aaron, I'm replacing the diff post now. I also just got the hinge pin (screw type) set. Very happy with that.

A Dub

so by moving your shocks all the way out it helped that much?

so this set up for the rear is like some what like the set up on the drake truck.

so it will make the rear pant with less roll right?

thanx dibs

Moving the shocks out on the arm helped stop the car from rolling in corners and kept it planted when railing around high speed sweepers. I can almost go through the end of the straightaway at Hemet wide open! hahaha

Default Aaron, need advice on X1 Pro setup

For a short track with lots of tight turns how would you set up the X1 Pro in terms of Shock springs, shock oil, diff oil, anti-roll bars, caster/camber, roll center and tires?
Thanks in advance for your response.

slrguy - I'd really try the stock setup; it has a TON of steering and shoots from corner to corner with authority.

I ran my car at Hemet tonight, and it was way super dope. I TQ'd and won the main event by two laps.

Thanks Aaron!
What tires do you run? Almost everyone here seems to like Proline CrimeFighers. What works best on a hard packed track that gets some dust accumulation after running several heats?

Crime Fighters work basically everywhere. If the track is hardpacked, some racers will look towards the Knuckles 2.0 tire.
