Seen a set of Big Bores for the FTE on Ebay last night.

i dont know about 2 FULL days. but im betting you ll get no less than one full day of bashing and a day of racing out of it.
i m useing a 4200 NiMH pack in my baja, it runs 2 analog, one 1/4 scale, and one stnandard servo, and the Nomadio RX, i can just get about 10 hrs of Run Time before it failsafes.

macnitty2002, by any chance do you have a link to the battery. I am looking for a few new batteries for a few different cars, and the Ballistic 2700 looks like it will do what I need it to, however not sure where to order in different configurations (the "factory" config won't fit my car's battery box).

Thanks
Dave

i got the pack at carolinas rc. the pack looks as if it's AA size cells, with 5 cells total in a 2X2X1 configuration. i had to do some modification to the battery box to get the pack to slide in, but it's nothing that will do any harm.

THEY GO FAST, SO GRAB ONE WHILE YOU CAN!!!!!!

Its by far the best qaulity iv'e built so far.
Whats nice is that HN got rid of the circlip and made the seal area lock with a thread nut. This way you will never have your seals pop out the bottom.
It comes with 2 different springs Hard and soft. The kit is excluding the springs.
Overall excellent qaulity.
I need to find out what thickness oil will work best. So far I'm exited. Testing, testing and more testing!

I took some pics of the new shocks on my buggy:

I have been doing some testing over the weekend with my new Super BB shocks.
I tried several combinations.

The new shocks definitely soaks up the rough much better. I found it difficult to get the setup I liked. I am curious to know what you guys will end up using.
For my X1 buggy I prefer the 1.4mm pistons with the silver or nickle springs.
60wt front and 50 wt rear.
If I use thinner it feels hard but a few minutes on the track it thins out and becomes very soft. Soft works well on the staright but jumping is affected as you loose alot of pack in the shocks.
I will be racing with my new shocks soon so I'll check the laptimes. If theres and improvement I'll keep running them.

They come with longer stand off's but that is to space them from the shock towers,I assume.I have been wondering about what that does to the lower mount on the arms?
