I can't find the specs on that engine mate but i'm sure it won't have nearly 3hp and pull 44,000 rpm.
Though it is a bit cheaper.
What are they like for tuning?
Can't beat the OS for ease of tuning that i can vouch for as i also have a P5 and an LSK.
Where can i find some specs on the Nova BF21.
Might be interested in one if they are good.

I have run a V-Spec as well. It's a very fast engine with almost too much power. It always felt like it was either on or off, not very smooth at all. It's a good engine just not for me.

i was about to get one of those Novarossi N1BF engines, but couldn't decide whether to spend the extra $80 rather than just get an OS RG (this would be for my backup buggy). i know that the OS RG can perform, hold a tune like no other, and last forever, but since the BF was a Novarossi, i didn't know if maybe it would perform better than the OS RG. does anybody know?

macnkitty: i don't think you will be disappointed with the nova rossi 3 port. i've got one in my jammin and i'm still getting the pipe/header sorted out. even without the perfect combo, it's been a very nice engine so far. i bought it used with almost 2 gallons on it and everything is in good shape still. the rod is tight on the crank, the bearings are good, basically all the pinch is gone but it's TONS of compression which means it's fully broken in (from what i read). i'm going to do some pipe testing and then i'll let you know what i come up with if you like.

On a smaller track, the Novarossi T21BF is more than capable with hanging with a V-Spec or similar. It's a very underrated engine. The V-Spec is a great engine, if you don't want to get more than two or three gallons through it.
I had a HotMod T21BF a while back, and I loved it on a small track.

I know that feeling all too well!
The JP Modified and OSRocket versions take some of that "hit" away. In stock form, it's like flipping a switch; there's no linear feel to the throttle like you'd have with, say a WS7II.

Engines
I don't know much about the STS Engines but I've just ordered my self a Novarossi Plus21-5T and it's definately not an "Economy Engine" and it should go like a scalded cat with a fire cracker up it's arse...
I'll let you know how it goes when i crank it over.
Has anyone tried the new alloy rear uprights yet?
What about the alloy centre diff mount?
Pics below...
There is some other groovey bits coming too for the X1 Cr & CRT.

I've heard the Novarossi 21 Plus 5 and is a very impressive motor, but in every one I've seen or tuned the rear bearing hasn't lasted a gallon. From what I understand, lots of people are having this issue. No issue with the engines that are running the TKO Ceramic rear bearings though!

Ok guys and gals one question I have to ask about the x1cr.
I have the x1cr fte and I was wondering if anyone has tried the 1 degree anti-squat in the rear and if so what effects did you see in the buggy..
Plus I want to post some pics of my buggy and I don't know how to..
