simple green is safe on anything. Just remember it is water based so be careful around metal stuff especially bearings.

I have both but dont use the speed wash anymore because it leaves a film which is good but collects dirt. I use simple green and wd-40. I watched some guys at the track clean with Kal-gard products and thats waht I am goin to switch to cause they just plain work!

+1 on the Kal-gard i tryed some from a mate and was impressed and every one asked as the car gave a distinctive cherry smell around the track...lol

Simple green is great for cleaning use it the most..

I am a great fan of speed wash. It works really well. I will usually use simple green first, and then use some speed wash.

If you want something better than simple green, got to Auto Zone and get some Purple Power. That stuff is bad, I've been using it for about 12 years on my dirtbikes and it pulls everything off with ease. I dilute 50/50 it for my RCs though, I've seen it strip anodizing off on a few occasions. Even at 50/50, it's still just as strong as simple green and much cheaper.

i use pine-sol/water mix....works very well (espeacially on wheels/tires) and you can get it in alot of different scents

which every water based product you use, make sure that you use an air compressor and blow EVERYTHING dry after. and i don't recomend wd-40 just because i see no point in using a cutting oil to help water proof something....i use liquid wrench spray silicone on everything (accept brakes) and liquid wrench dry lube for all the cvd's.....but everyone has their own way that works...this is just the one that i feel works best for me!!!

I've got both right now, and I think simple greens works better. The O'Donnell smells kinda like bubble gum also.

The best stuff i have ever used was Finish line Bike Wash. My neighbor builds 10k bikes and use this to clean them. He gave me some and it kicks Speed Wash, Kal Guard, simple greens but..... Its pricey tho.
