How ironic is it that Kyosho is set to possibly be back to back US National truggy winners and their truck isn't popular enough to be stocked by the US's largest online retailer.
The ST-RR is a fine truck and really should be more popular, but us RC consumers really like new items. I can't wait to see a new truck based on the mp9 platform, however with mp9 pricing I may have to look at someone elses LOL.

i would think there not in stock because of the new truck coming soon. i wouldn't stock the st-rr either with a new kit around the corner. not say'n its not worth stocking. its just like mentioned in above post. everyone has to have the flavor of the month in the rc world.

Updates may include (from what I have heard)
Threaded shocks (100% sure on this one)
New body (obviously)
New gears (ring and pinion)
Maybe new longer chasis
Maybe new arms and geometry

From what I have been told it will not be a replacement for the ST-RR just an update.

That is funny since the truck has been out of production for almost 2 years. The new truggy is going to be an updated version of the ST-RR. More refined, with the problems of the orginal truggy getting fixed. Suppose to be out this summer.

Kyosho's R&D and Marketing staff were testing the Truggy at my track today. After numerous discussions, the only person in the US that has the kit is Cody King. It will be available in October, so the wait is on for the Kyosho lovers. I did get a chance at driving the Truggy, you all will not be disappointed.
Correct, it will only be an update
Only updates are the Body, Gears, and Mud Guard.
