Default OFNA STARTERBOX-HELP

Do i have to lug around this big battery or can i use a different battery, Like six 4500mah batteries, or is this the only kind? And yes i have to have it seperate because of the way the motor is inside.

Thanks Guys!

Just about any 4s lipo will work. Just Velcro it in and you are done.

I have a 4S in stock for $40 shipped to you. It will Velcro right next to the motor inside the box and you wont have to plug it in on the outside. It weights about 5 ounces and will last about a month on one charge. It has the Tamiya plug on it, but you could solder any plug you want to it. Its the Venom 4S 14.8 volt, 2100 MAH

4500's will work. You dont need 6. 2 will do the job but you'll need a splice harness to get both hooked up to your box and then you will still have to run them outside your box. 1 small Lipo and you are done. My 4s lipo is going on 2 years now. I bought my charger off Ebay, shipped from China for $40. any charger that will charge/balance up to 4 cell Lipo will work

if im not mistaken cant you flip the motor around then reverse the polarity to get it to spin in the right direction? then theres enough room to drop the gelcell in there?

if its the same box i used to run my mugen onroad car and it appears that it is you can flip it and squeeze everything in the box.

i currently use a lipo but i really liked the gelcell for the weight it holds the vehicle very stable while its running for warmup or tuning and working on it as well.

What car are you going to be starting with that starterbox?
The reason I ask is that on the Ofna website, they list that
box as being for 1/10 and 1/8 on-road cars. Even if you turned
the motor around, the starter wheel would still be on the wrong
side of the box.

Post a pic of the starterbox lid, then we will know for sure.
