they changed the front brace to bolt to the chassis and not the servo plate on the hyperstar. has anyone done this to the original hyper 9 yet? if not i made a new front brace that i will test this week and let everybody know the difference.

Went to Nitrohouse's site and looked at the buggy. Nice looking kit. Really like the look of the linkage. Will be interested in hearing what people think of this buggy. Looks cool.

So when is somebody going to buy one of these and let us know how it compares to the other Hyper 9's (2.0, GL, etc.)? I'm real curious to here how the pillow ball front works....I'd buy one myself, but money's tight right now

what's exactly in the Hyper 9 to Hyperstar conversion kit ?

As I understand there isn't a conversion kit... There are many differences...

The only thing the front shares between the two is the shocks and the bulkhead... Shock towers/arms/universals/pillow balls... There are also differences in the center of the car as well. The radio tray is different and so are the chassis braces.

I don't buy it... Chassis alone is $125...

BUT if you do find a part number let me know...

There is a claimed conversion kit on Ebay - Hobao part 89600 - but picture shows this is more like an incomplete PBS conversion kit.
Might end up more cost effective to bite the bullet and get a complete new kit.
