No time soon. I see them outlaw big lipo packs before nitro. Homeland security nightmare. Lipo that is.....

I do not like EP but it has brought quite a few new people into this hobby, so for right now, it might make it a few more years.

I'll bring in a real-world 1:1 example.

Our track has had NHRA, NASCAR, TORC, IRL, etc come through, and not a single one is running on batteries.

And, I don't see Nitromethane or Methanol getting banned any time soon, as they're both considered "alternative fuels."

Check and Mate.

the battery technology today does not work that well with 1:1 yet.. but if it worked as well as it does in RC im sure you would see alot more EP 1:1 motor sports.

At pretty much every major race where the top drivers are running nitro and electric, the Nitro buggies put up faster quals and faster laps.

at this years manufacturer race, Jesse robers fastest nitro buggy lap was almost a full second faster than his fastest e-buggy lap in the main.

I think Im aware of what times they are capable of.....I never stated that EP lap times were faster...did I? thank you

EP is for 1/10 IMO, Im not a fan of EP 1/8 cars.......I do like watching the pro drivers wheel them though.

I'm so with that. I love 2wd and 4wd 1/10 buggy in the winter and nitro 'scalers in the summer......

ep 1/8 buggies arent as popular... most of the time not even enough to run their own class in my parts.

Californistan causes cancer.

We should fence it off, or chop at the fault lines with a shovel until it falls into the ocean. Must do it, for the children, think of the poor children.

We need more 1/10th scale guys to jump into 1/8th scale and join the fun. E-buggy, E-truggy is probally the best way for them.
