If he didn't just think how much better he would have done!

They make a big difference, but he may have felt that he didn't need them or?

Fantastic job either way.

I know Kyle used to run VP Pro, and may have only picked up support from AKA at the event......maybe they didn't have enough to go around?

AKA just like all the other companies brought tons of stuff, enough for their team drivers plus some to sell to other drivers. Plus considering the fact that the stiffiner is re-usable, I'm sure Kyle had access to and choose not to run it in the main.

We've been using them indoors and out in 40* weather both in SCT and E-Buggy and they are fantastic!

The AKA tyres were awesome all week in Thailand!

Interestingly, McBride actually ran the medium compound Impact (red foam with wheel inserts) in all of the finals. Astonishingly, he ran the same set in both the quarter and semi final - no new tyres for the semi of a WC!!!

The decision seems totally justified if you saw his car after the main final where it still had about quarter to half tread depth and this was part of the reason he was able to pull in Tebo who opted for the softer compound.
