Has anybody dealt with exhaust rub on the fuel tank? I am running a Novarossi 9886 pipe with 41001 manifold. The exhaust mounting wire isn't long enough. Can I get a longer one somewhere?

It isn't a big deal. I get the same. I use a strip of aluminium tape stuck to the tank as a bit of protection. You could also use the aluminium body repair tape as well. The 41001 manifold is really short a better choice is the 41031 manifold in truggy and that helps clear the tank as it's a bit longer.

You could always make one out of a piece of coat hanger. I know it won't have the nifty spring built in but you don't really need it.

Looks fantastic! You'll really enjoy the car...

I made the same mistake as you the first time I built the truggy. The brake linkage bracket at the servo horn is upside down meaning the brake linkage sits at a strange angle. Just flip it over as per the manual and then it'll run parallel to the throttle linkage and work better. You'll also need to trim the length of the wires down a bit

Started breaking it in today. 4 tanks at idle, one tank at 1/4 throttle. It's so smooth, handles so well, has so much grip. Best RC I've ever driven. That Paloma .21 compliments is so extremely well. It just absolutely purrs. The bottom end is perfect with just enough top-end. I can't wait for this to be broken in so I can rip up my homemade track! SRX8 Evo is the next purchase... might be time to retire the OFNA Hyper 7!

Fantastic. I hate breaking in engines. I'm always too keen to let it rip right off the bat!

The SRX8 was a fantastic car with the EVO being even better. I mean all the hop up parts we used on the SRX8 like the aluminium towers etc are stock in the kit on the EVO. Just fantastic value for money and the car is absolutely awesome right out the box.

Yep, I do think it's time to say goodbye to the OFNA

Can you run the srx8 elmulsion shock caps on the standard Truggy shocks?
Also has anyone used the new yellow clutch shoes and how do they perform?
I usually run 4x carbon 2x med 2x hard springs on slippery tracks or 4x alloy when there is grip.
Cheers
