Has worked great for me so far. My 8 2.0 shocks just don't leak. Like he says, just use shock oil. Check the shock boots periodically for holes and to make sure they're still on properly since they're pretty fragile and I suspect that dirt and other garbage would cause those o rings to take a beating.

8th scale shocks aren't any different from 10th scale ones... and most 10th scale racers have used green slime since the Buggymeister (Cliff Lett) brought it from motoX to RC in the mid-80's as he started working for AE.

Noone forces you to use it - but once you start using it you just can't stop...
