Another vote for the Hitec 7955TG. So far I have had zero issues with mine. It doesn't say it in the add usually, but like Tiger said you can run them with 7.4V straight without a problem.

warranty wise id prefer to have Hitec as the Name on the servo Vs Hobbico....we all Know the rep Hitec carries and for the extra 10$.....kinda easy decision.

Hitec all the way. Their servos and warranty can't be beat.

I just started running lipo direct (No regulator) since last year and all is good.
5955 steering
985 thr/brk
Both are 4 years old no issues.
Got the same exact setup in my buggy.

To the original poster, Hitec is your answer, look no further.

About ds1015... I bought 5 x 1015 3yrs ago 3 of these 5 failed within a year got replacements and sold replacements w/o even opening the seal. The other 2 are still running some day. But when they will fail (if and when they do) they too would be replaced with hitec.

I run Power HD HD-1501MG Standard Size Analog Metal Gear Servo. For $18 you get a 235 oz torque servo. they are the best bang for your buck.

I am very happy with my 645mg, they are cheap so you can easily replace them without burning a hole in your walllet
