FYI Hot Bodies brakes do not work, they are too big on the outdrive. Anyone found a cure for the leaking diff yet?

If your diffs are leaking, try grease on the outdrive when you install it.

Mine are not leaking

I use AE greeen slim on my outdrives and o-rings. Mine did not start leaking until after 2 months of racing and it was in 100'F heat. But Agama has new orange silicone diff O-rings coming. As with any new car, it just takes some time before all the new and improved parts are available. VP-Pro USA will have the new CNC brake rotors in stock Oct 1st.

I think have figured out the fuel tank issue. The Losi tank will work with the Agama mounts but you don't need to buy a Losi tank.

The problem is the Agama fuel line is too thin and also the lid spring is too soft. Get the following and try them. I just put the Losi spring on my lid and Losi fuel line, now there are no more leaks so there should be no more problems. Also make sure the fuel line is pushed all the way on the clunk and the clunk is pushed all the way in so it almost touches the rear of the tank. That will keep the clunk from getting hung up on the baffles or lid.

Let me know if anyone else has tried this. I think this will be the fix until Agama releases a stronger spring and thicker fuel line.

Also, did some testing with the new 8 hole pistons. My Agama is now doing .5 second faster lap times then my Losi and is easier to drive (on a mid to low bite track with a few small ruts/bumps).

Front: 1.4mm (#54 drill) with 550cts VP-Pro oil (Like Losi 40wt)
Middle shock tower, inside on arm. Stock grey springs

Rear: 1.2mm (#56 drill) with 200cts VP-Pro oil (like Losi 20wt)
Outside on tower and outise on arm. Stock grey springs

Outside temp was about 80'F.

Hey Gene,
Are the pistons your testing tapered?

Thx

Post Setup sheet...

Tony,
I thought I seen a setup sheet somewhere in which there was 4,4,4 in diffs, notes were drill 3mm hole in caps, I thin it was for low tracktion ruff track. Or what ever it was, can you repost. I might have to re-work my diffs and shocks. Nothing wrong with them. They feel REALLY good! But I just want a great starting point for the Silverbowl track. My D8 is a handful to drive and from what I have heard, the A8 jumps like a losi and very predictable. Can't wait to run it. I have been procrastinating. Also this has been the easiest kit i've ever built. Kinda crazy. I really didn't need instructions. Thank you in advance!

Hey Kazz....

I would probably use the setup I ran last weekend up in lewiston idaho..... that track is real similar to the silver bowl if its wet. packed but fluffy on top. depending on your temps I would run 35f 30r oils and with the stock springs you can lower it a bit to help in weight transfer. This setup will have good off throttle steering and straighten out nicely on throttle

Default Throttle Servo

Has anyone experienced issues with their throttle servo burning out...I've got epa set, grommets used, mounted towards rear and have burned two AE 1313 servos. I'm not a AE user usually, Hitec titanium, but before I put new Hitec's in just checking.
