Are u running the long ackerman plate or short. you might want to go up in your diff oils.and see if that helps. i have been running 5/5/3 and it seems perfect

Shane, I thought I sent you my set-up? The box set-up is pretty useless. Mine is not a pro set-up but it makes the car really easy to drive and it's very stable. Once you learn the buggy you can tweak it from there. I'll PM it to you. Battery has to go in the back, and you need thicker diff oils and you have to lay down the rear shocks a bit.

+1 on that, the stock setup would make you believe the car is ass happy. Try JB or AB setup and you should be fine. I'm sure James setup would be even better because I'm assuming it would be a little less aggresive.

Sure thing Bud. Anything is better than the box set-up.
Shayne, you may want to go to the Hobby pro USA website and look over the pro's posted set-ups. There may be something that is better suited for the track type you run on. Most tracks here in AZ are high traction and high speed with very large jumps so that's what my buggy is geared towards. I'm interested to see JB and JK's set-ups when they come here next month to see what the major differences are between my set up and there's.

To be honest, Hobby Pro might've stopped importing the conventional rack - 4920 (maybe not, will have to wait on that answer). Pretty much the only good thing about the optional rack is it helped get rid of some play in the steering if you're anal about that stuff.

It was about useless anyway, unless you run oval or a 1/5th track. You can put the shorter ackerman on to get less throw on the outer wheel if that's what you're looking for.

Any suggestions on keeping the droop screw from getting caught and not letting the arm drop down completely? It does this every once in a while and every thing looks normal.... grease maybe?

what is it getting caught on? has it gouged out your chassis? I grind down my arm a bit and use the Mugen droop screws. they have button heads on them and dont carve up the chassis like the stock screws.

Can use AE droop screws too.
