"However The A8 Evo in the hands of Vega finished 4th at the Montpellier GP in France in late February, a very impressive result taking into account the calibre of drivers who attended. After that high, came Neo2010; qualifying 24th – the highest of the three ‘new’ cars (Agama, Serpent & Team Durango) Vega broke a servo during his quarter final warm up, ending a good weekend on a low. The weekend after; the Euro Warm up in Portugal, again qualifying well in 19th but the tough track conditions saw Vega finish 35th."

It's coming but Agama wants it to be perfect. All the small details must be worked out so it will be a reliable and top performing buggy from the start of the release. The performance is there as proved by qualifying higher then any other new buggy at the Neo challenge. It is just a matter of time before the overall setup and durability are completed.

Testing in the USA continues to go well. Everyone who has driven the car is amazed at how balanced the buggy is and how well it jumps and flys.

Its about as much a Losi clone as the MBX6... when you actually get to put it together it has so many neat ideas. After running one today it is faster on our track than my Losi 8 2.0, XRay 808, HB D8, X2CR or GS CLX...(I have 2 many cars ) and we have only started with a base setup.

Setup at the end of the day on a medium/high grip high speed track was diffs 5, 7, 2, shocks 25wt losi fr/rr, top and bottom inside holes. 2.5mm front bar and 2,8mm rear. Droop was limited a small amount from max.

It jumps and lands so well, and has heaps of low speed steering and turn in..this car is a real contender.

The only part that looks the same as the losi is the servo saver and it is different too. Everything else has been changed and improved slightly:shorter front arms, longer rear arms, shorter cvds, adjustable radio tray, center diff with no top plate, piston actuated brake calipers, 17/45 gear ratio, 17mm shocks, tons of down travel, captured center cvds, engine in the center of the chassis, 3 shoe clutch, adjustable sway bars, adjustable f/r susp holders, metric screws, more chassis kick up, longer chassis, smaller outdrives, high downforce wing & body, f/r skid plates, ect, ect.

The A8 I have is still a pre-production car and did not come in a box. I believe the extended engine mounts are the only option part that will not come in the kit stock.

I won Sunday and it keeps getting better with each setup change I make.

It was not finished yet as of 3 weeks ago, not sure about now. Everything is supposed to be finished by the end of the month but you never know what delays may arise.
