If race results is King, none of the new cars will be King whether it be Serpent, TD, Agama or "The Car". Associated , Losi and Kyosho take turns playing king of the hill.

As much as I love the design, shilling out $700 dollars on this car is out of my comfort zone.

I was referencing between Durango and Serpent. I think the only reason Losi/Kyosho/AE take so many wins is because of their team drivers. They have the best 6 drivers in the world IMO

That I'm aware of, there's no substantial evidence to show that the current Serpent buggy is/was primarily Gerd's design, though it would be only natural for Serpent to build upon what basic design work was already done prior to the split; if only to cut down on time and more R & D. The current, soon-to-be-released Durango itself seems to have gone through many, many changes even right up until the last minute, so we can hope that the big bugs will be worked out, but this in itself is no guarantee.

Honestly, I like both buggies and I was very happy to see the revised radio tray on the Serpent which looks even better than I was expecting. In fact, while it may not be politically correct to say so, I think that the 811 may have a slight edge but time will tell.

C,mon guys, let's try to keep this from turning into another urinating contest.
Well said. The main reason why I dropped going to the Durango was due to the new radio tray from Serpent. Much better solution then I even anticipated and can't wait to get it on the car. The 811 is already the fastest/best handling buggy I have driven so far...can't imagine it being better, but if it is like Billy is saying, then holy crap. I'm sure the durango will be quite similar as the layout and many of the features are shared by design principle of the 2 buggys. Will be a great battle come spring 2011.

I agree. Now what will be interesting to see who TD can attract under their umbrella. For sure the top US drivers might be too expensive but fact is TD needs additions to Hupo who now is the only real ACE in 1:8 so they can get the titles under their belt. Car won't hold it back that's for sure

If you guys wanna see actual prototypes he made a few at the last Neo09/ race. They may have been for different car makes but the layout design was the exact same. Google it or go look it up at oOple or Neobuggy

There were a ton of pics on neobuggy. That was enough to convince me to give the buggy a try.
