I decided to go with the M11x and I take it to the track this last weekend and works so much faster than my 3pk with spektrum .... however my battery only last 12 minutes WTF I charged it with the stock charger for the recommended 12 hours before powering it up and have cycled the battery three times but it only last 12 mins must have a bad battery

The 4pk deosn't work. Shame on futaba to try covering it up. Fix it. When someone pays $500 for a radio that cost $35 to make and you won't take care of them when it breaks down......
Thats plain wrong. f futaba.
Them holes be there for a reason.

4pk's receiver has heat issue. It is well known. Get M11X. Plus, I think M11x is slightly cheaper than 4pk.

I had the 4Pk and had the heat problems all the time, in all 6 receivers also. If you run the car for less than 10mins you wont have any issues. The over heating happens in the longer mains, mine went at the 12-15min marker in 85+ weather. This is also in a RC8B with the receiver in the box alone, no battery to heat it up.
This is why I switched to the M11X, I even had Futaba team support and they still couldn't "hook" me up with a fixed receiver. That is also the reason why I had 6 of them.

3pk 2.4 603FF and FS Rx's.....for over a couple year's now and no heat issues....WITH a losi Regulator DIRECTLY beside the Rx......Granted i dont run in anywhere near 100degrees but have raced on some Hot Hot days where if it were to happen it would have happened....Long main or short Ive personally never had it happen.
This how ever does not mean its not an issue....look at all the guys that have....so Ill agree that Futaba needs to get off their keester and fix it...but look at Atsushi and his 4pk...has he ever had issues.(dont think so)

I also ran the 3pk 603FS, 4 of them for 2 years no issue, then I go a new one put in in 1/10 nitro sedan boom every 20min it shuts down.
I have also seen the same thing many times in other cars
the team drivers deny and try to bully you into thinking it is you or the fact you don't send it in for maintainence every 6 months lol
