I've got another carbon fibre shock tower coming but I also decided to try one of these....

Has anyone else used one of these with any success?

sykemike 10-14-2012 03:06 AM

my shocktower broke at the top where the shock mounts. also broke hinge pin, and a-arm hole stretched holding the hinge pin. ive done order ti-nitre hingepins, front a-arms, and kingheadz front shock tower. sorry i orderd before talking to ya'll. i want let it happen again. a $75.00 mistake.

Must have been a pretty hard hit to break all of that. I have heard good things about the Tony's screw kits. Going to be getting one when Amain gets them back in stock.

I didn't like rcscrewz very much. Tried the kit on some of my cars. They stainless steel seems softer and strips easier. Also I had several screws in my set that the hexes where messed up and couldn't be used.

Sorry it took so long to answer this. In case you haven't found out for yourself already it's 53 mm center to center.

Thank you, I'll build one with carbon fiber instead of buy.

I have tried the kHz and bent them. The serpent alum towers are the best bet.
