I'm guessing it's the new blues. I bought the new set through A Main Hobbies
With the blue, black, & red pistons.

Those are probably the old blues, Amain has been out of stock for a while and the rev 2s have been released since then. So you might have the new reds. lol

Question, as mentioned, I am thinking about switching from Losi to Serpent. Both me and my son race, so it is quite a switch. Seeing that they are on rev.3 for the driveline, what are the driveline issues and any workarounds? We switching as we are tired of diff issues in the losiand I would rather not buy all new cars to find out that they have the same diff issues. Any insight?

shim the diff the way the book tells you and forget about it. i dont care how tight it is when you build leave it alone and run the drivetrain in then there is no diff issue to be had

Well there is too tight... Shim by the manual and it should be good. If there is a little play between the ring and pinion drop 1 more shim in so there is no play. My front clearance was perfect, rear required one extra shim.

If anyone want's to pick up a set of the Carbon Fiber Shock Towers SER600152 and SER600151 that I installed on my kit and then removed for the aluminum ones right away. They have never been ran and are new. Send me a PM with an offer will sell for quite a bit cheaper than anywhere online!
