So, with only a small handful of runs under my belt with the car, I already got bit by the weak brake servo horn getting stripped out.

Here was my solution to this problem. Hangar 9 1.5" Aluminum Servo Horn modified to work. I'll never have to worry about the cheapy plastic horn stripping out again.



Drilled out a 17/64" hole right in the empty spot put it in the perfect location.


Trimmed down:


Installed (my linkages aren't setup yet). Had to use a 2mm washer on the brake side and a 1mm washer on the throttle side because the arm is thinner than stock.

this one is even better.. i dont have them yet and if you dont want to wait you can get them at Amain.. it is a robitronics servo horn

heres a better pic of my Robitronic servo horn you have to modify it though its not a direct fit

Chad, what about using the option Serpent aluminum horns are they available?

they havent released the steering ones and i dont think Billy did a aluminum throttle one yet for the new radio tray..

for steering im actually using the racers edge one.. i dont know which robitronics works..

Well got my car today and took a pic of it with my phone and sent it to my friends and all of them kicked me upside the head for getting it. I'm soooooooooo sick of being laughed at, and I hope I kick everyones ass with it too shut them up.
