I asked Billy Easton about it at the ROAR Region 4 race (which he won by four laps) and he said about 4 months so maybe around the first of the year. He's been doing allot of R&D for it.Definately my next buggy.

Looks sharp. Hope they make an E version. What took 'em so long?
Maybe its the angle, but the shocks look small. Those carbon towers look like they're a foot thick!

that is an old project from Gerd Strenge, the Durango builder. He was building a Serpent Buggy (from the pics) with Jorn Neumann as driver. In 2008 Serpent had a reorganisation and production was moved to Asia. The Buggy project was taken by Gerd to Durango and Serpent is now building there own version. It really seems te be a very nice one too! By the start of next season more info should be available, and secret testing on the US-tracks and even here in The Netherlands is in progress....

I just bought the new 733. Put it together grabed a set up from DJ...and that that car hauls a##. Takes a beating and keeps going. By far the best on road car I have ever owned. If Serpent is putting together a 1/8th buggy I'll give it a shot!!

Billy Easton is also one of the main designers for the serpent buggy as well, he races the Florida State series. I was talking to him when he was Running for TQ, and right now for Team Magic. He is still working with Serpent, just awaiting for the buggy to come out. The guy is an awesome and easy person to approach. I guess we are lucky in FL to have alot of experienced and approachable pros.
