There are ways to goof it up is why I don't recommend doing it yourself unless you are experienced in doing so .
And no I am not just saying this so you send your engine to me cause I really don't make much on bearing exchanges

I have replaced thousands of bearings (literally) with a heatgun . Engine block only needs to be about 300 or so to pop bearings out . Wiggle out with the end of the crank and have the new one ready to go installed on the crank , drop it in, tap it in lightly to seat and cool .

No way I'm paying 300 for a bearing tool when a stove and a hot mit work better. Spray a little Axe body spray in the case and the bearings slide right in.
For 300 I could send every engine I touch for the next 3 years out to get modded, pinched, and re-bearinged!

you must be careful with pullers/installers as they are hard on the races and can ding them or the balls if you tap the slide too hard and pretty much ruin your bearing . also have seen people gall the block where the bearings seat and gouge the aluminum rendering the block useless .
