It surprises me when people think speed motors lack bottom end. My friends that run fms 21-7 and jp black in in their 8t 2.0 have trouble driving mine because of the snap it has out of corners. All the motors you're considering are good. The folks i know that put a nova +4 in a truggy didn't like it.

The smoothness is what throws people off.

With EB Mods head button the motor runs fantastic. Plus there's never enough straight strech. Enough power off idle to kill the tires. They shouldn't cost that much but worth it to me.

The Ninja modded for truggy is very strong on bottom and very nice top end pull, it can be used on high grip tracks in buggy, runtime is better in truggy though, the buggy JX is smoother, better runtime's, you can use the power without being overpowered vs. the truggy version.

The FMS is a med or big track motor, buggy or truggy, it drives better in truggy imo, but i have seen guys use my fms in buggy that can drive, it is pretty cool to see, I run alot of 1/8 Latemodel, the FMS is in the top 2 of oval 21's, it has big time topend, the JX, and FMS are my two persanal fav's

I just got a new RB B9 and I have tried all the motors listed.

It is worth the extra coin....

Good Luck
