probably not much "negotiating". $1300 seems like alot but you are talking a car, radio, engine and that's it in most cases. None of those 3 have a ton of mark up.

If you were talking about a $1300 tire order or just parts, you might get somewhere with a few. Be best to call them direct, most of the larger stores who have bargaining power don't read a whole lot of these message boards.

This isnt the flea market or an automobile dealership I didnt know negotiating was an acceptable practice. From what I have seen carolinasrc.com has about the best pricing around. Heres a link. There are coupons on the front page.

Go to a lhs near you..They could really use the money and will be able to give you a better deal....Hobby shops around here are priced very good...Most of the hobby shops will give me a better price most of the time.......I don`t usually ask for a price break but when I do they always cut me a little something

I have always got a better deal from a independent hobby shop versus buying online.........Although sometimes the little guy doesn`t carry all the products or can`t get them then I will turn to the over priced online shops

try rc-toro.com. They used to have a "toro40off" for any order over $400. I suppose you make three seperate orders. You can maxmize your saving to $120.
