Which engine?

Which engine?
What is your top pick for an engine? (off-road 1/8 buggy)
When I purchase an engine, I usually keep it for a while, so I really haven't had that many. I've had a Mach which I loved, V-spec and RB C6 which is just insane power. I wish I could just go to a hobby shop and try out every engine out there, but I can't. I'm really looking for the best in all areas, fuel efficiency, power, dependability and durability. What is the badest engine out there and lets say money is no object.
Thoughts?

If you are looking for the best balance of power speed and fuel mileage. Then you want an os speed with a 2060 pipe and an we mods head button. I have this setup in my 8t 2.0 and it is perfect. Pleanty of power, torque and I get 11 min +. And it is ohh soo smooth. What more can you ask for. Yes it's expensive but it's the best of all worlds.

Dude not to be a buzz kill, but that is a VERY opinionated question, you will not find a solid answer to this question.
How much do you race? What level? (open, novice, pro). Where are you located?
I am an OS man - I say if your a newer driver and race more at the beginner level. then i would say an OS VSPEC - if you are a season vet then +1 on the SPEED.
But you really would need to find a motor that suits your driving style also

I race every Sunday and I would classify myself as intermediate.
