Which Engine? .21 Buggy
I just purchased a losi B 2.0 and cannot decide which engine I want, so I thought you guys could help. I have been running a little max power 3 port and now thinks it time to step it up. This is what I have been thinking.
Novarossi plus 4
Mugen Ninja
O.S. VZB vspec
Tell me what you think also would be a good pipe combination. Thanx.

For reliability and power I love my JAMMIN .21!!!! 1.5 gallons and it still gets stuck when it's cold.

Ninja
v-spec
nova
in that order. I have had great success with the os based engines over the past year or so. I used to be a die hard nova fan, but thier preformance and reliability has let me down recently. The Ninja is a very solid engine with a smooth powerband and awesome fuel economy. The v-spec is an awesome engine, and I have yet to experience the longevety issues that everyone claims. 9 gallons down the road and my v-spec is running strong. Bearings and rod were replaced at around the 5 gallon mark, nothing else. The new nova engines look very good, but thier extensive break-in period and high price tag turn me away.

os speed ( not on list)
nova plus 4
ninja jx
os v spec
In that order, i love my speed that why i put it on the list and other owners would agree, if your looking for a high end race mill. I race with a guy that runs the nova plus 4 with a 41021 header and 9901 pipe, he used to run a os speed with a 2060 pipe header combo and says its very similar power, and millage. although one thing that i dont understand is. Why is there no ceramic rear bearing in the nova?? its there flagship motor. in my oppinion the os/jx carbs are some of the best on the market. No much experience with the ninja looks like something in between a standard v spec and a os speed. spend the extra $$$ get the os speed that includes ceramics bearings, and a world class reputation.
