Not that I had any issues with my car, but after seeing what happened tonight it was a eye opener. The rag I walk around with was also another idea I picked up from Monty.

Thanx for sharing Monty
What's the rag idea?

Block the exhaust to kill the engine. Save yourself from a good burn, and at WOT I'm not sure you would be able to hold your finger there long enough anyway. At WOT how difficult is it killing the engine by tapping the flywheel?

I watched a .21 runaway at WOT eat through 50% of a aluminum spout of a fuel bottle at CRCRC back in 2002 or 2003. The rag is the best method to use if you can't get to the fuel line to pull it off the carb.
