Default JBRL RD 2 at ARC

round 2 was fun and well run by jimmy 250 entries every class got 2 5 min. qualies and 12 min. A mains except electric buggy and truggy which got 10min. mains the ARC crew had the track in tip top shape. new truggy grid iron tires from aka where being sold at the event and looked good on the semi dry track during qualies.
best part of night was watching ryan cavaleri battle with ryan lutz for the top spot in expert buggy main which ryan cavaleri ended up winning at the end
thanks to ARC and Jimmy babcock for making rd. 2 so much fun

Wow that was an awsome track and a good day, my driving was under par but had a good time with the guys. Competion was good, racing was great, track was excellent, a lil hard to see some sections on the driver stand but I'll take that in stride and racing was flowing right through I left right before the last main and that was 9:40pm. And thanks Mr. Babcock and Upgrade on the name decals from the first race, this is why I would continue to support the JBRL series.

what a blast this time. it was definitely less hectic with 100 less entries than last time. jimmy even had individual sticker sheets for everybody with your name on them from Upgrade RC to make up for the shenanigans of the first round. that couldnt have been cheap to do. Jimmy is a class act in my book.

does anybody know where the results are being posted at?

Track was was fun, weather was nice and hot. Made A-MAIN in sport truggy and finished 11th. First time racing my 2.0 truggy. Didn't do so hot in the buggy class my pitgirl (wife) didn't put feul in my car after tech and could not figure out why it wouldn't start so after a sprint down the long ass driver stand to get it fired up I sprinted back up just as the loop went like and I drove like a spazzed bat out of hell. I finished 4th and 3rd in my mains and only made 2nd spot in the cmain. Great day great track, is it just me or are these events to long of a day.

i did the same thing to my friend i was pitting for. it still had some in it from prevously, and it fired up in the pre warm up, and died just before everyone was set to go out. i though it used a whole tank just warming up , but then i realized i didnt put any in, in the first place :tard:

Ray

Here is a funny one. Getting ready to head over to tech go to start my car up and find out my starter box is dead Of course I didn't bring my other box this time and now Im effed. This was for the second quali and this is after the no gas first quali.....This is how ghetto I roll I went through tech then just stood in the pits till everybody fired up their cars then had to bum a box off someone just so I could start my car.

Luckily this guy in the pic above was cool and let me start my car real quick. Awesome that's what I love about most RC racers we will always help someone out. If you read (ray I take it) thanks again.

After the race I actually found someone with a trickle charger and I was able to charge my gel cell up enough to start my truggy and buggy for the Mains

Yes they will have them for you as long as you participated in the first race. I have to agree with you DJ Jimmy didn't have to do that for any of us but he did and he does his best to make the series enjoyable for all of us racers

here is a slideshow with all the sorry arse pics I took lol
