You haven't done a thing to it. It's just wondering why its spitting fuel

I have had great success with losi gaskets. Make sure you exhaust is square on the motor and the pipe and header pipe are square as well. If they're not you go through gaskets like there's no tomorrow.
I know getting an exhaust in the MBX6 is difficult, just spend some time on it. Last I knew the losi pipe fit with no cutting required.

I thought you said it was running great this last weekend,tuned by a os user? I believe some thread in the resent past said the v-spec will run with a piston in backwards,just poorly.

Most engines I have seen wont even turn over if the piston is in backwards. The cutout in the piston skirt is for clearance of the crank counterweight at the bottom of the stroke. If it is in backwards and turns over the piston skirt probably broke off.
