i broke in my .12 engine on my gt2 and it might sound weird but it ran good for most of the time without richen the top end a little. with the 25%

thats a contridiction to the previous post you just agreed to.. the previous post said "Not that I switch back and forth with nitro content, but I always thought if you switch from 20 to 30, your engine will run faster, harder, therefore requiring a richer needle setting"
I was always told leaner for lower nitro (20%) and richer for higher nitro
(30%) cause more nitro and more power = more heat..

well i was running 280 with a lot of smoke this past weekend and the outside temp was only 50 and thats a 5 min qual something is not right i would say

I switched from 25% to 20%. I notice my engine runs cooler, it seldom overheat, and the good thing : I don't notice power lost.

Well, I'm currently experimenting with things like diesel in my 2.5, until I can get a real motor in my truggy
But I plan on running 30%, as that's what my LHS has in stock most often...
Which is also what you should look for so you're not constantly re-tuning just because your fuel isn't in stock
