Awesome Shocks!
We have been running Tex's shocks for about 6 weeks now and wow they do work!!
My son Hunter said they are excllent and will not race without them.
Traction, cornering, whoops, square ledge holes they take them in stride!
They allow the tires to stay in contact with the ground allowing you to run faster lap times.
They work plain and simple!!
While running these he has continously set low lap times!!
For those who dont know him,
He races Expert / Pro class buggy with a Xray 808.

taking a guess. but it sounds like a position sensing shock. it
has a outer shock body and a inner shock body with a hole near the top of the inner body, then another hole about 3/4 the way down. when the piston is between these to holes some fluid will bypass the piston through the bottom hole flowing above the piston to the top, when the piston is below the bottom hole full dampining is in place.
am i close?

Subscribed for more info. What do the sizes refer too? If it's center to center of the mounting bolts, you need longer sizes. My RC8 rear shocks are more than 125mm center to center of the mounting bolts. A truggy would be even longer. Perhaps you are sizing the length of just the shock body? Shock shaft? What?
Thanks
Thanks

All this makes me think of something I read once.
NASA spent over $1,000,000 to develop a pen that could write in outer space. The Russians used a pencil.

Or the 1000 dollar billet toilet seat used on some airplanes. This brings up a good point. Its important to think about price. I would buy expensive shocks if they work, last, and the ware and tear parts are inexpensive. You know things like shafts, caps, seals, and spring holder are gonna get hammered. Who wants to have to buy a 40 dollar shock shaft when it bends.
