Yeah, what an awsome event! The Nitro Pit, and Kenny run a great program, and Kenny calls the best race, hands down!
Joey threw down an awsome layout, which kept you on your toes! The layout was a little intimidating at first glance, but it really made you think about your driving, and set up. Not a lot of tight twisty turns, but a lot of big jumps, and some with not a lot of run up. Shocks, diff's, and engine tune were key, and the shocks got a work out!
What may have been intimidating at first, was SO much fun by the end of the week!
Downsiding jumps was as important as everything else. Over shoot a jump, and you were screwed for the ones following. It really was a test of your abilities. As much fun as it is getting BIG air, staying low, is what you wanted to accomplish at the pit this year!
Joey admitted to making it a difficult track. He wanted it to be a test of abilities, but in the end, wanting you walking away saying "Man, that was FUN!" IMO he did just what he intended to do!
