clutch bell and spur gear size
i've recently bought a ansmann terrier kit and bought a .28 picco engine. I've had difficulty stopping the bell and gear from shreadding eash other so i was wondering if my spur gear might be a bit dig or small for the clutch bell any ideas if you all know what i'm on about??? thanks

nope mount aint moving.i've moved the engine about loads of times to try mesh them but i just cant seam to get it. should most 1/8th scale spur gears fit?

gear mesh is easy .
loosen the motor mount so motor can be moved easily
take a piece of standard paper. cut a 10mm wide 100mm (1/2"x4") long strip. fold in half so its bit thicker or just get bit thicker paper
put it between spur and clutch bell push the motor onto the spur and tighten the motor mount . now just pull the paper out and it should go out with bit of a force but not rip . now u got a perfect mesh.
i never stripped a single gear on any of my cars.
thick paper works on mod 1.0 gears in 1:8 scale thinner on 32p and smaller teeth (48p, 64p)
