I used a Nevermiss starter plate from ebay.

wow!! i didnt do that at all. I used all the stock hardware that came with the box, took my motor off the chassis, set the flywheel opening over the starter wheel, slid all the pins and plates the closest square points, snugged it all, took the chassis off and tightened everything, put the rubber pads in and went for it. Ill post up pics of my box with the bare chassis on it so you can see. It was so easy!!??!!

I didn't do any of that either. I lined everything up, got the front pegs locked in and left the rear ones off so I could use my 8ight buggy on it as well. I did move the whole starter assembly over as it shows in that tutorial. That actually helps alot in lining things up. But it does interfere with the switch somewhat.

i set mine up similar to thaa above instructional
but i use mine for both the buggy and the truggy so i have set mine up so that i can slide the arms in and out to suit

this is how the truggy sits with the chassis
